About Me
I’m a professionally trained photographer and a graduate of a professional photography program. I spent 10 years working as a photojournalist covering news, sports, and political campaigns—an environment where you learn quickly that the best images aren’t staged. You have to anticipate what’s about to happen, stay calm under pressure, work fast in changing light, and capture real emotion without getting in the way. That documentary foundation is exactly what I bring to weddings.
For the past 25 years, I’ve photographed weddings as a wedding photojournalist, focused on telling the story of your day as it naturally unfolds. My approach is unobtrusive and storytelling. I’m capturing authentic moments, real interactions, and the small in-between details that make your wedding uniquely yours. The result is a collection of images that feels honest, timeless, and full of life.
We’ll make time for couple and family portraits without taking you away from the celebration for too long. I keep them artistic and natural with gentle direction—enough guidance to make you look your best, without stiff posing or long photo sessions that pull you away from your guests. I’ll keep family photos organized and efficient, and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
If you’re looking for real, unscripted wedding photography with a true documentary feel—rooted in photojournalism—I’d love to tell your story.
