The Daughters of the American Revolution National Society is replete with all of the grandeur and elegance that anyone could possibly want for their wedding destination. This national landmark located in the heart of Washington D.C. is so full of unique character that no two weddings or events held on their property will ever be the same.

With breathtaking views of this country�s capital and the meticulously landscaped grounds the surrounding is nothing short of perfect. But the event rooms themselves are what will take your breath away. The unique spaces available can handle a wedding with as few as 50 guests and up to 3,500, with each room doused in its own personal charm and atmosphere.

The rooms that can be used for your special event include the very popular O�Byrne Gallery with its barreled ceilings, herringbone hardwood floor and original rams head sconces, the antique filled Banquet Hall, the spectacular DAR Library, a perfectly intimate setting with the Connecticut Board Room, the President General�s Assembly Room, and the National Officers Club Room. In addition the outdoor terrace portico with its ionic columns and view of the Washington Monument can also be used for special events.

Included with every rental is use of the Pennsylvania Foyer which is a magnificent way to start the day with its striking circular driveway, gilded beaux-arts foyer with marble busts overlooking the space. It�s a wonderful place for greeting guests, standing cocktail receptions, and just for awing event goers with its historic charm.

The DAR Museum also features 32 period rooms in the Memorial Continental Hall and private tours can be arranged for guests wishing to have a deeper experience in one of the country�s most stunning and stately historical buildings.
