I have to say that it was an absolute beautiful day! I had started off the day by meeting up with Catherine and her friends and family getting ready at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Alexandria early in the morning. Her groom David had docked his yacht on the waterfront and stayed there the night before. Their ceremony was at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Old Town Alexandria. After the ceremony, we had an abundance of time to freely walk throughout the waterfront / downtown to capture some amazing pictures of the newlyweds, we even stumbled across the Alexandria Fire Department and they posed for a quick photo with them on the streets of Old Town Alexandria. Then we made our way to their reception that was on the Cherry Blossom River Boat and ferried our way down the Potomac. We had great weather and an awesome set of locations to work with, I couldn’t ask for anything more…
