Chase Court Wedding Photography, Baltimore – Kathy and JonSunday, December 19th, 2010Ceremony and reception location : Chase Court, Baltimore, MD Wedding date : October 31, 2010 Photographs by Roman Kathy and Jon had a super fun Halloween wedding. Chase Court was a great setting for their unique wedding. Toe tags were used for place cards and the spooky cake was done by Charm City Cakes. Family and friends got into the spirit by dressing up for the wedding. The ceremony in the court yard was performed by a close friend of the the newly weds. Then the festivities continued inside for the reception.
Pier 5 Hotel Wedding Photography, Harbor Club – Valerie and AdamFriday, November 5th, 2010Ceremony Location : Pier 5 Hotel – Lighthouse Garden Reception location : Peir 5 hotel – Harbor Club Wedding date : September 17, 2010 Photographs by Napoleon Valerie and Adam were married on September 17th at the Pier 5 Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. As Valerie and Bride’s Maids made their last minute preparations in one of their rooms, Adam and his Groom’s Men were taking care of theirs as well; right down to the “special” yellow Argyle socks that Valerie specifically picked out for them. It was another crazy Friday afternoon in the Inner Harbor area and between the Yankees being in town to play the Orioles and the great late Summer weather, there was certainly a great buzz of people everywhere around the hotel grounds. The ceremony was held in a little park area just behind the hotel which opened up to the Inner Harbor and downtown Fells Point. Aside from the guests, many random onlookers gathered nearby to witness the beautiful ceremony. After the vows, we took advantage of the weather and the great scenery and shot some group photos by the water then it was off to the reception. The room which hosted the reception was enclosed by huge windows that offered a picture perfect panoramic view of the Inner Harbor skyline. It took a little bit of time but after the guests were sufficiently warmed up and in the mood, the dance floor was never empty the rest of the evening. Before long, the last dance came before anyone was ready to leave. Congratulations, again, Valerie and Adam and thank you for allowing me the pleasure of capturing your special day.
George Peabody Library Wedding Photography, Baltimore, MD – Rebecca & RickWednesday, October 27th, 2010Ceremony and reception location : George Peabody Library, Baltimore, MD Wedding date : September 25, 2010 Photographs by Jennifer When I first met with Rebecca, way back in January, she described her wedding as “Jewish with a few dashes of Asian.” I couldn’t wait to see how that motif would be carried out in practical terms. She couldn’t have done a more lovely job. Think a lace-draped huppah with a few elegant stalks of bamboo tucked into the centerpieces, fresh challah bread and the Chinese symbol for happiness, the hora and fancy-schmancy eggrolls. They were married on a gorgeous September evening at Baltimore’s George Peabody Library, a venue I am quite fond of since it was the site of my own wedding reception five years ago! I started with Rebecca at a nearby hotel, where the bride’s sister literally sewed her into a dress that was suddenly a bit too big. We continued with a fun, casual portrait session in Mount Vernon Place, where we tried our best to dodge the hundreds of visitors attending the Baltimore Book Festival. And then it was off to the dramatically lit library for a ceremony filled with Hebrew and Mandarin Chinese and a party accented by all kinds of stylish, personal touches. (Among my favorites: Rebecca had a cake topper custom made to match her and Rick’s wedding wear. So sweet!) Congratulations, Rebecca and Rick. I had so much fun documenting your perfect day!
Westminster Hall Wedding Photography – Kim and EoghanMonday, October 4th, 2010Ceremony Location : Memorial Episcopal Church Reception location : Westminster Hall, Baltimore, MD Wedding date : August 20, 2010 Photographs by Jennifer Kim and Eoghan have the sort of love story that screenwriters dream up. Born and raised in Ireland, Eoghan was having breakfast with his family one morning when he saw an ad in the newspaper that caught his eye. Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va., was looking for Irish performers. He and his younger brother decided to fly to the United States to audition. Eoghan got a job. (His brother did not.) There, in the theme park, Eoghan met Kim, who was working as a dancer. They fell in love and dated long distance as each moved for one reason or another. Finally, they decided that being together was more important than where they were living or what they were doing. So they moved together to Canada. From across the globe, their families and friends converged on Baltimore to celebrate their marriage at Memorial Episcopal Church and a reception at Westminster Hall. Despite the stifling heat — and the un-air conditioned church — I could not have had more fun documenting their wedding day. From Kim’s infectious laughter while getting ready and the traditional Irish music played during the ceremony by Eoghan’s relatives to the map guests signed in lieu of a traditional guest book and the way these two families came together as if they had known each other for decades, everything was a joy to photograph. Congratulations, Kim and Eoghan. I couldn’t be happier for you both!

The first time they saw each other on their wedding day turned out to be a very tender moment. Their traditional jewish ceremony was held in the Marble room with the reception in the Corinthian room. Family and friends had a great time and were even treated to cookies from the bakery where Julie and Eric had their first date. The beautiful floral arrangements were done by Wicked Willow.
Hillendale Country Club Wedding Photography, Phoenix, MD – Christie and GregTuesday, July 27th, 2010Ceremony Location : St. John’s Sweet Air, Phoenix, MD Reception location : Hillendale Country Club, Phonenix, MD Wedding date : June 12, 2010 Photographs by Thomas Christie and Greg were married on June 12th, 2010 in Phoenix Maryland. Christie made her final preparations for the wedding at her parents house, surrounded by her team of bridesmaids, her parents, and the best behaved dog. The ceremony was held at St John’s of Sweet Air and Greg’s face lit up as soon as he saw Christie being escorted down the isle by her father. After the ceremony we spent some time doing formals at the church, and then the newlyweds sped of to the reception in a Plymouth. We then arrived at Hillendale Country Club for the reception. We spent a little more time out on the golf course taking some photos with Christie and Greg, and the bridal party also joined in for a couple pictures. Then we went inside so the reception could kick off with dancing from the couple, and then with their parents. Congrats guys, it was a pleasure documenting your wedding.
Engineers Club Wedding Photography, Baltimore, MD – Alison and PaulFriday, July 9th, 2010Ceremony Location : Old Otterbein Methodist Church Reception location : Engineers Club Wedding date : May 29, 2010 Photographs by Jennifer Alison and Paul were married on one of the most beautiful Saturday evenings this spring. With their reception at the Engineers Club in Baltimore‘s Mount Vernon neighborhood, the bride and her girlfriends decided to get ready there. The 105-year-old mansion has one of the prettiest bridal dressing rooms in the area. The windows of the Women’s Auxiliary are just gorgeous and they let in the most perfect light. Alison had one rule while getting ready there — no crying. I’m pretty sure her friends, sister and the mothers all managed to comply, despite a close call when the bride’s mom saw her in her veil for the first time. When everyone was ready, we were off to the Old Otterbein Methodist Church, the most simple and lovely little church, for a ceremony filled with laughter and tears and, at the very end, a surprise blast of party horns from the couple’s guests. After our family photo session, Alison and Paul strolled Mount Vernon Place for some relaxed portraits in the glorious early-evening light. They capped their day with a few emotional toasts, animal-print champagne flutes and a surprise dance choreographed by their friends. What an evening!
